We are running our fun and interactive holiday programme these upcoming July school holidays for anyone who wishes to give fencing a go and see what it's all about! Designed to give new students the basics of fencing and the skills for participation in our club's term classes, if you decide that fencing is for you! These classes are engaging, interesting, a workout and most of all, fun! 

It's great to be into Level 2 now and to have our club back up and running (with appropriate safety measures in place). As you are no doubt already aware, the Government has moved New Zealand to a Level 4 Alert, meaning we must all now stay home. All of our fencing classes are currently suspended and we have cancelled the plans for our upcoming holiday programme. We recently held an end of year competition for our Wellington South Fencing Club members and their families and it was a huge success! We had a large turnout of competitors and heaps of parent support, making this a fun and memorable day for everyone involved. What a great way to celebrate the success of our fencers for 2019!

Calling all Fencers! Hutt Valley Fencing Club and Fencing Central invite you to attend the 2019 Fencing Central Championships and Team Foil and Team Epee Challenges. The national fencing calendar is full of great opportunities for our students to participate in a wide range of tournaments. In June we had Cooper, Vinh and Leon represent Wellington South Fencing Club and their school, Scots College, at the National Secondary School Championships. School Holiday Programmes Wellington South Fencing Club runs school holiday programmes a couple of times each year. These intensive courses effectively provide a terms worth of classes within 4-5 days. This is a great opportunity for beginners or juniors to develop a solid foundation for fencing or for senior to work in smaller groups to extend their skills.
