About Us

At Wellington South Fencing Club we specialise in developing school age fencers of all abilities.

We are a friendly and successful foil club and encourage our fencers to compete in local and international competitions.

We encourage new members, both beginners and improvers, and are equally happy to help those who have been away from fencing back into this exciting and rewarding sport.

We’re always delighted to see those who drop in on a casual basis and offer first lessons for free.

Wellington South Fencng Club is an incorporated society overseen by a committee of individuals who are passionate about the future of fencing in New Zealand.

The club is fortunate to have two highly regarded professional Coaches available for our members. We also offer coaching development training within the club providing a platform for our senior students to step-up and give-back within the sport.
